Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: 10 June 2026

This policy explains how Quantum Real Estate Asset Management handles personal data in connection with our website, www.qream.co.uk, and when you contact us. We handle personal data in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

01

About this policy

For the purposes of data protection law, the data controller is Quantum Real Estate Asset Management Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 13882435, with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. You can contact us at georgeaustin@qream.co.uk.

The personal data we process

Our website is a simple informational site. It has no online enquiry forms, and we do not use analytics, advertising, or visitor-tracking tools. In practice, we process only limited personal data:

  • Information you send us by email. If you contact us using the email addresses published on our site, we receive your email address, your name (if you provide it), and anything you choose to include in your message.
  • Technical server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information — such as IP addresses, browser type, and the date and time of access — to keep the site running securely. We do not use this information to identify individual visitors.

We do not knowingly collect any special category (sensitive) data, and we ask that you do not send us sensitive personal information by email.

03

Cookies

Our website uses only strictly necessary cookies required for it to function and to remember that you have seen our cookie notice. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Because these cookies are essential, they do not require your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR); our cookie notice is provided for transparency.

04

Why we process your data, and our lawful basis

  • To respond to your enquiry. When you email us, we use your details to reply and to deal with your request. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us, and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
  • To keep our website secure and operational. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in maintaining the security and integrity of our site.

05

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for marketing purposes. We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf under contract:

  • Website hosting: SiteGround
  • Email: Microsoft 365

Fonts and images are served from our own website. To display the site, your browser does request our styling framework (Tailwind CSS) from a content delivery network (CDN), which necessarily receives your IP address as a technical part of delivering that file. It is not used to track you.

We may also disclose personal data where we are required to do so by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

06

International transfers

Our hosting and email providers store our data within the UK. Where a provider processes personal data outside the UK — for example, limited technical support — they do so under appropriate safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, so that your data remains protected.

07

How long we keep your data

We keep email correspondence only for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any related follow-up, after which it is deleted. Technical server logs are retained for the standard period applied by our hosting provider.

08

Your rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • ask us to delete your data;
  • restrict or object to our processing of your data;
  • request the transfer of your data (data portability); and
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, please email us at georgeaustin@qream.co.uk. We will respond within the timescales required by law.

09

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, you have the right to complain to us directly. Please contact us at georgeaustin@qream.co.uk and we will look into it. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days of receiving it — usually much sooner — and aim to provide an outcome without undue delay.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by calling 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy
